Just wanted to remind everyone that the BAUG April meeting is next Wednesday. We have some great topics and speakers so it should be a good one. If you haven't registered, go over to http://www.baltimore-aug.org/

This month we have Samer Sadek on CF and Air as well as Marc Esher on Unit testing with MXUnit.

Hope to see you there!

Adobe Developer Week

I meant to blog this a couple days ago, but for those who don't know from all the others that have mentioned it; Adobe is offering free online training this week via Adobe Connect.

Follow the link below to get all the details.

    Baltimore Adobe User Group

The inaugural meeting of the Baltimore Area Adobe User's Group is going to be Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Towson University.

I'm going to be helping Nic Tunney get this up and running. There should be a website and an agenda for the first meeting very soon. Please let me know if you're interested in attending, speaking at a meeting or if there are topics you'd like to hear.

Here are directions to the location:

Location: 7400 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204 (From Towson Univ, head south on York Rd, past the entrance to St. Joseph's Hospital. 7400 is a 5 story brick bldg on the right, and shares a driveway with Central Presbyterian Church. If you hit Stevenson Rd, you've gone too far. Plenty of free parking behind bldg. Entrance to bldg is in back. When you walk into the lobby, TU classroom is first door on your right.)

    Air Raid on Mojo!

So yesterday Chris Vigliotti and I took a couple of minutes to check out the shwag Nic Tunney brought back from the onAir Bus Tour.

I worked through the Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) for JavaScript Developers Pocket Guide and was up to speed in like 15 minutes. I was able to create tables, query tables with the package SQLite database. It was all very cool. I think after I spend some time looking at ColdBox I will circle back around and dig further into AIR. I definitely recommend checking it out.
